Set your lineups. Every week.
My guys,
In Week 6 a running back who was listed Out before his game kicked off stayed in a starting spot. That is the issue, and it is a lineup decision. An active player scoring zero happens to everyone. A player confirmed Out, on bye or otherwise inactive left in a starting spot when you have an available alternative is different. I said it in the chat on Sunday and I am putting it here so nobody misses it.
Fill every starting spot with an available player. Check injury statuses and byes before each player's kickoff, and replace anyone confirmed Out or inactive when you have an available alternative. This applies to every owner, no matter the record. If you are 0-6, it applies. If you are 5-1, it applies. Sixteen owners paid in, and every one of them deserves to play a full team on Sunday. When an inactive player stays in a lineup, it changes a result for someone else, and it changes the standings for everyone.
This is very important, so I will be direct about it. Setting your lineup is going to weigh heavily on the decision about who is invited back next year. If you have a bye-week problem or an injury, the waiver wire is right there. If you are stuck, message me before kickoff and I will help you figure it out.
Everyone is enjoying the league this year. Keep it that way.
